Job summary

Minor Hotels’ Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort is seeking a service-driven Food & Beverage Supervisor on a casual basis. You will oversee daily operations of outlets, mentor a small team, and ensure high guest service across breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts.

Demonstrated hospitality leadership, RSA certification, and a flexible, reliable attitude are essential as you contribute to a memorable guest experience and the resort’s service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hospitality teams in a busy venue.
• RSA certification is required.
• Willing to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the F&B team to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with guest orders and accommodate preferences.
• Demonstrate menu knowledge and make recommendations.
• Oversee serving of food and beverages while maintaining standards.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and ensure satisfaction.
• Roster planning, shift coordination, and workflow management.
• Ensure RSA, hygiene and WHS compliance.
• Assist management with reporting, stock control and service improvements.

Oaks Lake Crackenback Resortare looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Food & Beverage Supervisorto join our team on a casualbasis.

This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of our food and beverage outlets while leading a small team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will oversee daily service, mentor team members, and ensure all service standards are met across breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead and support the F&B team to ensure professional, efficient, & high-quality service.
• Assist with taking guest orders accurately and ensuring guest preferences are accommodated.
• Demonstrate menu knowledge and confidently recommend food and beverage options to guests.
• Oversee the serving of food and beverages, maintaining professional standards and guest satisfaction.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Coach and mentor team members, providing guidance, support, and training as required.
• Assist with rostering, shift coordination, and workflow planning to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with RSA, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Support management with reporting, stock management, and service improvement initiatives.

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Breakfast shifts
• Shifts during occasional events including weddings, functions and conferences
• Rotating roster across Monday through Sunday
• Shifts from 7am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $39.13 per hour

Saturday: $46.95 per hour

Sunday: $54.78 per hour

Successful candidates will have:

• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or mentoring a team in a hospitality environment.
• Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Attendant, Waiter/Waitress or Bartender.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
• Warm, approachable demeanour with a positive attitude.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality guest service consistently.
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills.
• Reliability and flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
