Job summary

Ventia, in collaboration with the Australian Defence Force, seeks enthusiastic Food and Beverage Service Attendants for a casual role at Simpson Barracks, Yallambie, Victoria. You will rotate shifts across messes, delivering high-standard service to military personnel and handling bar duties with RSA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or catering and customer service is advantageous.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is required.
• Point of sale / cash register experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and related legislation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve military personnel during mess periods (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
• Deliver outstanding service to guests each shift.
• Provide professional bar service meeting RSA standards.
• Keep dining and bar areas clean and tidy.
• Assist with basic food preparation and restocking as needed.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work as part of a supportive team.

Ventia, in collaboration with the Australian Defence Force,are seeking enthusiastic Food and Beverage Service Attendants to join the team on a casual basis at the Simpson barracks in Yallambie, Victoria

Working a rotating roster, offering $34.36 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)

About You

• Experience in hospitality & catering or customer service (Advantageous)
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
• Available to work full-time hours
• Point of sale / cash register experience (Advantageous)
• Prior experience delivering food and beverage services in hotels, restaurants, and high-volume dining establishments. (Advantageous)
• Sound knowledge of Food and Safety Standards, relevant legislation and statutory obligations.

You must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check.
