Job summary

Aveo Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant for Rochedale Gardens Retirement Living in Brisbane. You will deliver friendly dining service, assist with light food preparation, and help set up and pack down dining spaces, building meaningful connections with residents.

This permanent part-time role covers Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00am to 2:00pm, with weekend rates and entitlements. You’ll contribute to a welcoming retirement community while supporting residents in daily living.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience is desirable.
• Friendly, people-focused attitude with a genuine passion for customer service.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in connecting with residents.
• Enthusiasm for working in retirement living and making a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Use the POS system to take orders while providing friendly, attentive, and personalised service to residents.
• Serve meals and drinks during service times, ensuring every dining experience is welcoming and enjoyable.
• Assist with light food preparation, plating meals and preparing simple items such as salads.
• Support the setup and pack-down of events and dining spaces, maintaining clean, organised, and inviting areas throughout the day.
• Build meaningful connections with residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Rochedale Gardens Retirement Living offers relaxed retirement living in a serene, leafy setting just 18km from Brisbane’s CBD. Direct access to local shopping, nearby parks and excellent transport links makes day-to-day living easy.As aFood & Beverage Attendant,you’lldeliver excellent dining service,assistwith food preparation, help set up and pack down dining areas and events, and build meaningful relationships that enhance the daily lives of residents.In this role,you’lldo more than serve meals - you’llsupport our residents, foster meaningful connections, and help create a sense of community.

What we offer

• Saturday Rate: $44.97/hr+ superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
• Sunday Rate: $52.47/hr+ superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
