Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel is seeking enthusiastic Food and Beverage Attendants to join our team on a casual basis. You will help deliver memorable dining experiences across breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts, seven days a week with flexibility.

As a member of the team you will take orders, share menu recommendations, serve guests with warmth and strive to exceed expectations while maintaining a professional appearance.

Job description

Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel are looking for enthusiastic and service-driven Food and Beverage Attendants to join our team on a casual basis. If you're enthusiastic, service-focused, and passionate about hospitality, we'd love to welcome you to our team. This role includes breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts with flexibility required across all seven days, including weekends and public holidays. As a valued team member, you'll play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences by:

• Taking Guest Orders: Accurately and attentively recording orders to accommodate guest preferences.
• Menu Expertise and Recommendations: Confidently recommending food and beverage options
• Serving Food & Beverages : Providing professional and efficient service, while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Delivering Exceptional Customer Service : Engaging warmly with guests, promptly addressing their needs, and striving to exceed their expectations.

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts
• Rotating roster across Monday through to Sunday
• Split shifts may be required on some days
• A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification is required

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

• Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour
• Saturday: $40.62 per hour
• Sunday: $47.39 per hour

Successful candidates will have:

• Previous experience as a waitstaff, bartender, or in a similar hospitality role
• A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
• A warm and approachable demeanour with a positive attitude.
• Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service.
• Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills.
• Reliability, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
