Qualifications

• Current Australian Electrical or Mechanical Fitter Licence.
• Industrial experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Strong general electrical and automation fault-finding ability.
• Able to work in cold-room environments (3–10°C).
• Team-oriented with clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety first—LOTO, WHS compliance, electrical safety standards, and food safety (HACCP/GMP)
• Work on electrical/controls systems across PLCs, VSDs, sensors, and automation (Electricians)
• Perform preventative maintenance across food processing and packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns to keep the plant running
• Complete work orders, documentation, parts requests, and shift handovers
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Collaborate effectively with operators, QA, and supervisors
