As a member of CASA’s Aviation Technical (AT) job family, a Flying Operations Inspector (FO1) works under direction and guidance from a Manager and National Manager. The role sits within a team of inspectors and other related staff, who work collaboratively to deliver on CASA’s strategic operational priorities and work plans, including the National Oversight Plan (NOP).
As a member of CASA’s Aviation Technical (AT) job family, a Senior CASA Inspector (FO2) works under limited guidance from a Section Manager and National Manager. The role sits within a team of inspectors and other related staff, who work collaboratively to deliver on CASA’s strategic operational priorities and work plans, including the National Oversight Plan (NOP).
Note – FO1: The Delegate may consider experience other than that specified depending on the position’s specific responsibilities and may also consider experience equivalent to the nominated experience in lieu of a proportion of this 8-year requirement. This could include experience in General Aviation activities, in a management role, or a role of a Flying Operations inspector within a NAA or military equivalent.
Employment with CASA is subject to conditions prescribed within the Civil Aviation Act 1988 (the Act) and the CASA Enterprise Agreement. The following eligibility requirements apply to this position:
