Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action VIC – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Spatial Data Analyst to support the FloodZoom platform. You will ensure the quality and consistency of spatial data and assist in sharing data with stakeholders.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in geospatial or computer sciences, and hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise/Online, QGIS and FME. Desirable familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and government processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in geospatial sciences or computer sciences or equivalent professional experience.
Spatial data management experience with ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise/Online, QGIS and FME.
Geospatial programming languages are desirable.
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence and agile software delivery is advantageous. Govenrment experience is desirable.

Responsabilités

Maintain and improve the FloodZoom platform and ensure data quality and consistency.
Assist in sharing spatial data with stakeholders and departments.
Support hybrid work arrangements at 8 Nicholson Street, Melbourne.
