Job summary

Royal Flying Doctor Service–Canberra ACT is seeking Flight Nurses for our Dubbo Base to join on a full or part-time basis. You will deliver direct quality nursing care in aero-medical settings, operating autonomously with RFDSSE guidelines and in coordination with Medical Officers.

AHPRA registration with no restrictions, Midwifery qualifications with birth suite experience, 4+ years in acute post-graduate critical care, and an Advanced Life Support certification are required; relocation support

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration with no restrictions.
• Post-registration Midwifery qualifications with birth suite experience.
• Minimum 4 years acute post-graduate critical care and nursing experience (Emergency/ICU/Cardiac/Cardiothoracic).
• Current Advanced Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct quality nursing care in an aero-medical environment.
• Work autonomously following RFDSSE guidelines.
• Collaborate with RFDSSE Medical Officers or on-call Medical Retrieval Consultants.
