Job summary

Jet Aviation in Newcastle is seeking a skilled Flight Line Technician to support PC-21 aircraft operations and provide hands-on maintenance on the flight line and in the hangar. You will certify maintenance tasks, manage documentation, and uphold safety and reliability across daily operations.

The successful candidate will hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Qualification (Aeroskills Cert II or IV or equivalent) and be eligible for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with Aerosexuals Certificate II or IV, or Military/Foreign Equivalent or suitable Units of Competency.
• Safety and occupational health knowledge and adherence to environment requirements.
• Ability to meet security clearance and upgrade training as required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in flight line planning and maintenance activities.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance and minor hangar tasks.
• Complete maintenance entries and certifications accurately and on time.
• Support fault analysis and maintenance investigations.
• Ensure tools, Foreign Object Debris control and ground support equipment are serviceable.
• Follow safety policies and company procedures at all times.
• Assist with aircraft washing and corrosion-control inspections.
• Assist with towing, repositioning, refuelling and marshalling as required.
