Job summary

Save Our Service is offering casual educator roles across childcare centres around Burleigh Heads. Flexible shifts (3–10 hours) support professional growth and offer opportunities to gain experience in various centres, with help to secure permanent positions locally for those seeking stability.

We seek passionate individuals meeting ACECQA‑approved qualification criteria, with a current Working with Children Check and transport ability for travel up to 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Certificate III, Diploma, or Early Childhood Teacher degree (or currently studying towards one).
• A minimum of one day per week availability.
• Valid work authorization for Australia.
• Reliable transport to travel up to 30 minutes.
• A passion to work with children and implement engaging, activity-based programs.
• Training in First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma is highly regarded.
• Experience in childcare is preferred but not essential.
• A current Working with Children Check is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, activity-based programs for children.
• Assist across multiple childcare centres in the Burleigh Heads area.
• Support ongoing professional growth and opportunities through flexible shifts.
