Job summary

Golden Steps ABA seeks a dedicated RBT to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children aged 2–21 in home or community settings across Western Australia. You’ll work under BCBA supervision, maintain data daily, and collaborate with families.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication
• Willing to have a background check
• Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to clients’ homes
• Must possess a High School Degree
• Experience roles such as nanny, teacher, or support staff helpful

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with Autism in home or community settings.
• Implement behavioral interventions and individualized treatment plans for ages 2–21.
• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, observations and parent training as needed.
• Maintain open communication with the BCBA and team; data entry and daily trial recording.
• Remain available for supervision sessions, calls, and meetings required by the BCBA.
