Job summary

The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN) is seeking a Research Development Manager to lead strategic projects that strengthen SCHN’s research capacity and advance its vision as a research‑intensive organisation.

The role focuses on enhancing research education, increasing paediatric translational research participation, managing grants, and building partnerships with NSW Government, universities, MRIs and other collaborators to improve paediatric health and medical research in NSW.

Qualifications

• Lead strategic projects and initiatives to strengthen SCHN’s research capacity.
• Support high-performing research and translational paediatric research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead projects to enhance SCHN’s capacity to attract and deliver high-performing research.
• Support education and training to enhance knowledge and expertise in paediatric research.
• Increase participation in paediatric translational research and clinical trials.
• Expand opportunities for investigator-initiated trials and manage growing research-enabling grants.
• Engage NSW Government, universities, MRIs and partner organisations to strengthen paediatric health research in NSW.
