Job summary

Greencross Vets Helensvale Square on the Gold Coast, QLD, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse for a part-time position with a minimum of 10 hours per week and opportunities for extra shifts. Join a friendly, supportive team delivering high-quality patient care and a varied caseload.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' clinical nursing experience.
• Confident anaesthetic monitoring skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily clinic workflow and client experience
• Assisting with consultations and surgical procedures
• Monitoring anaesthesia and patient recovery
• Taking and processing radiographs
• Administering medications and treatments
• Collecting pathology samples and assisting with diagnostics
• Providing nursing care to hospitalised patients
• Maintaining high clinical and infection-control standards
• Working collaboratively within our close-knit team
