Job summary

Lumus Imaging Maroubra is seeking a Medical Sonographer to deliver high-quality ultrasound imaging in a supportive community setting. You will perform a broad range of general ultrasound examinations and ensure patient comfort throughout scans.

Work with radiologists to produce timely reports, maintain equipment, and uphold infection control standards. A patient-first approach and strong communication skills are essential for collaboration across the clinical team.

Qualifications

• ASAR accreditation as Medical Sonographer or equivalent eligibility.
• Experience in general ultrasound is highly regarded; MSK, vascular and O&G experience is a bonus.
• Patient-first approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative team player with pride in quality imaging.
• Open to working across metro Sydney sites for full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of general ultrasound examinations to a high clinical standard.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and dignity during each scan.
• Produce accurate worksheets and work with radiologists to deliver timely reports.
• Communicate clearly with referrers and the wider clinical team.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to quality and infection control standards.
