Job summary

Respect Group Limited is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator in Victoria for a part‑time role (24 hours/week). You’ll be hands‑on, organised and capable of working independently while coordinating maintenance, managing contractors and asset records to keep facilities safe and welcoming for residents and staff.

You’ll work with the General Manager to plan preventative and reactive maintenance, oversee servicing, support refurbishment and capital works, and help ensure fire safety and essential

Qualifications

• General maintenance and gardening skills.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience coordinating maintenance programs.
• Trade qualification relevant to the role.
• Testing and Tagging certification.
• Experience in residential aged care, healthcare or similar.
• Grounds maintenance or horticulture experience.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance across the facility.
• Maintain the asset register and maintenance records.
• Schedule and oversee servicing, repairs and contractor works.
• Support refurbishment projects, equipment replacement and capital works planning.
• Ensure buildings, resident rooms and grounds are maintained to a high standard.
• Monitor stock and maintenance supplies.
• Assist with fire safety, emergency preparedness and essential services compliance.
• Coordinate testing and tagging (or perform if suitably qualified).
• Ensure company vehicles are maintained and serviced.
• Participate in an on‑call maintenance roster as required.
