Job summary

Aspire Early Education is seeking a passionate, flexible Assistant Educator to join our Deanside Village centre in a permanent part-time role. You’ll work with our educators and leaders to provide high-quality care and engaging learning experiences.

As part of the Float Team, you’ll support across rooms and age groups, adapting to changing needs and contributing to a safe, nurturing environment in line with the EYLF.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year experience in early childhood education and care setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYLF and child safety responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support educators in providing high-quality care and education for children across the centre.
• Assist with the implementation of engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYLF.
• Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with daily routines including meals, sleep, hygiene and transitions.
• Provide flexible support across different rooms and age groups as part of the Float Team.
• Maintain a high standard of care, supervision and compliance.
• Work collaboratively with room and centre teams.
• Contribute to maintaining compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS) and centre policies.
• Be flexible to work rotating shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm.
