Job summary

selectability - mental wellbeing and suicide prevention is seeking a Lifestyle Support Worker to assist recipients in Townsville, providing one-on-one support at home and in the community. Roles include helping with daily tasks, meal prep, and transportation to activities to empower independence and mental wellbeing.

You will work in recipients' homes and communities, supporting them to engage in activities that build confidence and life skills, while adhering to policies and procedures and

Qualifications

• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Computer literacy and accuracy in record management.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Be able to follow policies and procedures at all times.
• Able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals.

Responsibilities

• Support recipients to live as independently as possible at home and in the communities.
• Assist with daily activities: cleaning, healthy meals, and yard maintenance.
• Provide transport to activities and help access community.
• Encourage confidence and participation in social events and appointments.
