Job summary

Gorilla Jobs Pty Ltd. is seeking a VR General Practitioner to join a friendly mixed billing practice on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

This full-time role offers a relaxed, supportive environment with flexible consulting hours and the opportunity to practice comprehensive family medicine. You will manage a broad patient demographic, provide immunisations and antenatal care, and collaborate with a wide range of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA General or Specialist Registration as a Medical Practitioner.
• FRACGP or equivalent where applicable.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid Australian work visa.
• Strong communication and patient relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of general practice presentations.
• Conduct clinical assessments and health evaluations.
• Provide children's health and childhood immunisations.
• Deliver women's health and routine antenatal care.
• Manage chronic disease and mental health presentations.
• Undertake health assessments and care plans.
• Perform minor procedures, wound management and skin treatments.
• Provide preventative healthcare and lifestyle advice.
• Refer and liaise with specialists and other healthcare professionals.
• Prescribe, review and renew medications where clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation.
