Respect, Masters Lodge in Hervey Bay is seeking casual Personal Care Assistants to join the care team at our aged care community. This casual role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work across a range of shifts as needed to support our residents.

You will work under the direction of the senior clinical team to provide compassionate personal care, support, and assistance to residents, promoting wellbeing, dignity and independence within a collaborative care team.

Formación

• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in residential aged care.
• A caring, respectful and person-centred approach to supporting older people.
• Flexibility and willingness to work across a range of shifts, subject to availability and operational requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and support to residents to maintain independence and dignity in activities of daily living.
• Attend to meal delivery and refreshments as required.
• Record observations in progress notes and report exceptions to the care plan to the EN/RN.
• Check residents' daily menu requirements.
• Attend to duties allocated by the RN/EN, including general ward duties.
• Assist with additional shifts to support the team, including covering planned and unplanned leave.
• Undertake any other tasks within the scope of practice as directed.
