Job summary

Little Zak's Academy on the Central Coast NSW is hiring casual Early Childhood Educators to join our privately owned, family‑run centres in Lisarow and The Entrance. Facilitate learning in your allocated group, collaborate with the team, and communicate with families to support every child's development.

Casual hours are flexible and not guaranteed; roles fit around studies, family, or other commitments. We provide mentoring, onboarding, and opportunities within a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/Diploma/Teaching Degree in Early Childhood Education & Care (or ACECQA approved).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework including: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), EYLF.
• Ability to nurture authentic connections with children and families through interaction, curriculum and documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the learning experiences for your allocated group of children.
• Be part of a collaborative teaching environment.
• Maintain effective communication with the parents throughout the service.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
• Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times.

We are seeking Casual Early Childhood Educators to join our centres across the Central Coast NSW, including:

• Lisarow
• The Entrance

As a casual team member, you will have the flexibility to work across a variety of shifts based on each centre's needs. While we aim to offer regular opportunities, casual hours are not guaranteed and may vary from week to week depending on staffing and enrolment needs.
