Central Coast Council NSW is seeking a Casual Educator (Certificate III) to deliver quality early childhood education and care across Education and Care Centres on the Central Coast. The role covers planned and unplanned educator leave to ensure children receive consistent learning aligned with national standards.

Applicants must have a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, a current Working with Children Check, and experience in a long day care setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Prior experience in a long day care setting with children aged six weeks to five years, with understanding of the National Quality Framework.
• Evidence of Boostrix (Whooping Cough, Tetanus, Diptheria); MMR and Hepatitis A & B or commencement of vaccinations prior to commencement.

Job Description

The Casual Educator Certificate III plays a pivotal role in delivering quality education and care across our Council's Education and Care Centres throughout the Central Coast region. Your primary responsibility will be to cover both planned and unplanned leave for educators, ensuring that children receive effective education and care that aligns with our community's learning objectives.

This role not only requires a commitment to educational excellence but also demands strong customer service skills to positively impact the community we serve.

• Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Prior experience in a long day care setting with children aged six weeks to five years, along with a solid understanding of early childhood practises and the National Quality Framework.
