Job summary

Capital Transport and Logistics Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Fleet Relations Officer to oversee sub-contractors, ensure adherence to policies, and manage training, compliance, and performance across the fleet. The role reports to the Fleet Relations Manager and Fleet Manager, with a focus on safe, efficient operations within the metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Sub-contractor recruitment and retention: liaise with managers to ensure fleet composition and recruit vehicles and drivers.
• Sub-contractor training and development: ensure comprehensive training and policy compliance for sub-contractors.
• Sub-Contractor compliance: on-boarding, documentation, TMS and HRWebPortal setup and audits for new drivers.
• Sub-contractor Attendance reporting and management: manage daily fleet attendance, ensure on-road presence, handle communications and follow-ups.
• Incident Reporting and Investigation: record and investigate incidents/near misses; implement control measures.
• Management of Sub-Contractor minimum incentive Agreements: maintain incentive agreements, payments, and earnings reviews.
• Asset Management: maintain uniforms, equipment, decals, asset registers, and device allocations.
• Driver Liaison: maintain proactive communication with sub-contractors, resolve issues, and manage pay/query communications.
