Job summary

Solutions+ is seeking a dedicated motor mechanic to service, repair, and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment from our Seven Hills Head Office and Sydney region. You will diagnose faults, attend on-site breakdowns, and complete service reports, contributing to safety and uptime.

Ideal candidates have trade qualifications, experience with light to medium vehicles up to 4.5T GVM, and basic computer skills for job management systems. Field independence and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience as a motor mechanic with relevant trade backgrounds.
• Experience servicing vehicles and trailers up to 4.5T GVM.
• Basic computer skills for job management systems.
• High attention to detail with a “fix it properly the first time” mindset.
• Ability to work independently in the field and support the team when needed.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair fleet vehicles, plant and equipment.
• Primarily Toyota fleet for vehicles and a wide range of landscaping machinery.
• Work on machinery used in civil, construction, and grounds maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs efficiently.
• Attend on-site breakdowns across the region as required.
• Carry out repairs in the workshop and in the field.
• Complete electronic job cards, inspections, and service reports.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Ensure all fleet assets meet safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
• Liaise with operations teams to prioritise fleet availability.
