Zusammenfassung

Sterling NT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide vehicle, machinery, and equipment maintenance across our fleet. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and keep records, communicating with operators to improve reliability.

Candidates should have a Certificate 3 in automotive mechanical or equivalent, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A Construction Induction card and a National Police Check are required.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate 3 in automotive mechanical or equivalent is required.
• Strong diagnostic skills and methodical thinking to assess issues.
• Proven ability to plan, conduct and review maintenance activities.
• Decision making ability and physical stamina to perform tasks.
• Sound knowledge of machinery requirements in the fleet.
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
• Construction Induction card held.
• Positive National Police Check report.

Aufgaben

• Repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain the Sterling NT fleet (vehicles, trucks/tippers, machinery, ride on mowers, small motor equipment).
• Identify potential issues that could cause safety concerns or failures.
• Communicate with operators to identify common issues affecting efficiency and reliability.
• Perform mechanical diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Maintain records and produce reports.
• Assist with parts ordering and inventory control.
• Work independently and manage own workload.
