Job summary

Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Moe is seeking a Qualified Motor Mechanic for maintenance of CFA appliances in a clean workshop environment. You will carry out preventative, corrective maintenance and approved modifications with all tools and PPE supplied.

The role is full-time and fixed-term for 12 months. You must hold a Motor Mechanic Qualification and a Heavy Rigid Licence, with First Aid Level 2 preferred or obtainable within CFA timeframes.

Qualifications

• Motor Mechanic Qualification and hold a Heavy Rigid Driver Licence.
• First Aid Level 2 (can be obtained within CFA timeframes).

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and approved modifications to fleet assets.
• Maintain fleet assets in line with CFA procedures and industry standards.
• Create electronic Work Orders using CFA software and maintain accurate documentation.
• Liaise with Brigade members regarding work proposals and completed tasks.
• Provide routine reports to the Officer-in-Charge on maintenance and safety matters.
