Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Australia seeks an experienced Senior Specialist Logistics Fleet Manager to join the Defence logistics team. You will provide expert logistics support, fleet management leadership across complex Defence programs, and drive plans to optimise product flow and distribution.

Working with Defence and partners, you will mentor team members and ensure service excellence in a dynamic environment. This role offers opportunities to lead initiatives and collaborate across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience within Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or related logistics discipline
  • 5+ years' experience supporting Defence or a comparable technical industry
  • Strong knowledge of Defence logistics management systems MILIS, LNIDs, NAVALLOW, APLCRATES and/or AMPS
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Experience leading, mentoring or supervising personnel
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support logistics and fleet management activities across Defence programs.
  • Analyse logistics data and develop plans to improve supply chain, inventory and distribution performance.
  • Coordinate and manage monthly reporting requirements in accordance with customer timeframes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Defence stakeholders and program partners.
  • Support governance, assurance and workforce management activities, including compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and service delivery.
  • Review technical, contractual and operational information to identify provisioning, maintenance and support requirements.
  • Monitor inventory and distribution activities to ensure delivery objectives are achieved.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and guidance to team members.
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, risk management and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for customers and key stakeholders within your area of responsibility.

The Opportunity

KBR is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Logistics Fleet Management to join our Defence logistics team.

In this role, you will provide specialist logistics support, fleet management expertise and leadership across complex Defence programs. You will play a key role in analysing, developing and implementing logistics plans that optimise product flow, inventory management and distribution performance, while ensuring the effective delivery of support outcomes for our customer.

Working closely with stakeholders across Defence, industry partners and internal teams, you will contribute to governance, continuous improvement initiatives and the successful management of integrated logistics support activities.

As The Ideal Candidate You Will Bring
