Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking an experienced pilot to conduct low-level aerial surveys across regional Western Australia in support of biodiversity and land management projects. You will fly feral animal control missions, provide air support for fire management, and operate from remote airstrips.

The role requires a CPL(A) with a Class 1 Medical Certificate, 1000+ PIC hours, and willingness to base in Perth or Bunbury with periods away.

Qualifications

  • Holding Australian CPL(A) is required and demonstrates pilot qualifications.
  • Australian Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 1000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) is essential.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
  • Willingness to base in Perth (Jandakot) or Bunbury with frequent remote deployments.
  • Able to operate within a small company and contribute across roles.

What you’ll do

  • Maintain accurate flight records and contribute to aircraft care and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with conservation, land, and fire management stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
  • Australian CPL(A).
  • Australian Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

  • Excellent communication skills and professional airmanship.
