You will combine scientific thinking, technical manufacturing capability and meticulous attention to detail to execute safe, compliant production while rapidly learning new mRNA technologies.

This is an opportunity for a digitally savvy operator to work at the intersection of manufacturing, automation and operational excellence—troubleshooting equipment, process and digital issues while contributing to improvements and innovation. • Perform routine basic equipment maintenance, including lubrication, basic mechanical checks and filter changes, using appropriate hand tools.
  • Proactively identify and report compliance, health and safety issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
  • Participate in incident investigations, including root cause analysis (RCA), and support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
  • Partner closely with Quality Assurance peers to complete and close the documentation required for timely disposition of commercial batches.
  • Apply established performance tools while working collaboratively to achieve operational KPI objectives and support operational excellence.
  • Maintain training records and associated documentation accurately and ensure they remain up to date.
  • Participate in multiple projects and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, bringing a digitally fluent perspective to improvements and innovations.

  • Work flexibly across rotating roster schedules in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including afternoon and night shifts, weekends and public holidays, with roster cycles changing according to production demand.
  • Work overtime and adjust shift patterns when required to meet operational demands.
  • Contribute to Moderna’s mission of producing safe, effective vaccines by combining scientific understanding, operational capability, collaboration and digital acumen.
