The Department of Justice and Community Safety in Shepparton is offering a fixed-term, full-time Case Manager position in the Court Practice stream until 22 February 2028.

You will apply evidence-based case management to individuals at medium risk of reoffending, actively engaging them and ensuring targeted interventions.

This role requires producing detailed reports, monitoring compliance with orders, building positive relationships in a small team, and upholding a safe, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours.
• Builds positive working relationships within a small team.
• Understanding of case management practices relating to complex individuals.
• Practices modelling pro social behaviours and motivates those around them.
• Pays attention to words, expression and body language; recognises behaviours that promote inclusion.

Responsabilités

• Identify and evaluate factors that relate to individual offending behaviour.
• Motivate and influence individuals in the case management process.
• Produce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelines.
• Monitor individual's compliance against order requirements.
