Job summary

Murrin Murrin Operations in Western Australia invites a skilled Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to join our mining and processing team. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across a busy process plant, focusing on pumps, piping, valves and laser alignment.

Ideal candidates hold an Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification, a current manual Australian Driver’s licence, and proven pump/PWM experiences. Experience with HPAL Autoclaves is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential).
• Current manual Australian Driver’s licence.
• Proven experience with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
• Proven experience with fixed plant piping, valves, and laser alignment.
• Desirable: HPAL Autoclaves experience.
• Experience with area permit systems; safe work instructions and hazard identification.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance in the process plant.
• Maintain pumps, piping, and valves; perform laser alignment.
• Work on sizer screens, mills, thickeners, and agitators.
• HPAL Autoclaves experience is an advantage.
