Regional Group Australia is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant / Crusher Fitter to join the Repairs team in Gracemere, Queensland, providing maintenance, repair and reliability work on fixed and mobile plant within a quarry environment.

The role involves scheduled maintenance, breakdown repairs and preventative tasks across quarry assets, with a focus on minimising downtime and keeping plant equipment at high standards. Occasional travel to other quarry sites in Queensland is required.

Competenze

• Trade-qualified with post-trade experience.
• Experience maintaining/heavy mobile plant, crushing & screening equipment.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, emissions systems, driveline, brakes & suspension.
• Auto-electrical diagnostic and repair skills.
• Competent with diagnostic tools & electronic service information.

• Diagnose and repair faults on fixed plant and crushers.
• Service and maintain quarry equipment to high standards.
• Work to tight schedules while ensuring quality and safety.
• Maintain tools and equipment and coordinate with suppliers for parts.
• Assist with planning service schedules and lean maintenance practices.
• Report incidents and near misses.
