The Reject Shop is seeking a highly organized Fixed Asset Accountant to join our Finance team in Melbourne. You will manage the end-to-end fixed asset process, assess CAPEX projects, classify assets, and maintain the fixed asset register with accuracy.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will collaborate with the wider Finance team, support month-end close, manage intercompany charges, and uphold strong controls around fixed asset accounting in a growing Australian retailer.

Formación

• Experience with fixed asset accounting and CAPEX processes.
• CPA qualification or membership.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end fixed asset process from CAPEX assessment to asset recognition.
• Maintain and update fixed asset register with accuracy.
• Review CAPEX expenditure for asset treatment across stores and fixtures.
• Collaborate with Finance Manager to support asset reporting and integrity.
• Oversee intercompany charges and ensure proper reconciliation.
• Support month-end activities and ensure timely close.
