Job summary

Covalent Lithium is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to maintain equipment at the Mt Holland Mine and Kwinana Refinery complex, ensuring safety and compliance. This full-time permanent role is FIFO from Perth with an 8 on / 6 off / 8 on / 6 off roster.

You will perform planned and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant assets, aiming for high reliability and production targets, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and adherent to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in a Mechanical Trade and a relevant trade qualification.
• Current WA 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
• 2 years fixed plant maintenance experience (conveyors, ball mills, crushers, slurry pumps).
• Desirable tickets include Forklift, DG, HR licence, EWP, HDPE welding, CN Crane.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Mount Holland safety, environmental and statutory standards.
• Execute planned and breakdown maintenance to maximise reliability of fixed plant assets.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain equipment to meet production targets at Mount Holland site.
• Foster effective relationships with the supervisor, team members and other departments.

The Role

As our Mechanical Fitter, you will maintain the equipment utilized in meeting production targets of Covalent's Mt Holland Mine operations in accordance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements.

This is a full time, permanent position, ex FIFO from Perth to our Mt Holland mine site, on an 8 on / 6 off / 8 on / 6 off / 8 on / 6 off / 7 on / 7 off roster.

Key Responsibilities

• At all times act within Mount Holland safety, environmental and statutory standards.
• Execute planned and breakdown maintenance to maximise reliability and quality of fixed plant assets.
• Identify and put forth opportunities to improve equipment reliability and work procedures.
• Maintain equipment to the highest standard to ensure Mount Holland meets required production targets operations.
• Ensure effective working relationships are built and maintained with the supervisor, team members and other departments and stakeholders, both internal and external

Role Requirements

• Certificate III in a Mechanical Trade
• A Relevant trade qualification
