Job summary

We are currently seeking applications from experienced Diesel Fitters for a Full‑Time position at our Caboolture Workshop located north of Brisbane just off the Bruce Highway. We also welcome applicants seeking a Part‑Time or Casual position.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Performing maintenance and repairs on Overburden Drills.
  • Completing strip downs and rebuilds of Drill Rigs and Mining Equipment
  • Fulfilling all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs.
Desirable Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • Trade Certificate
  • Hydraulics experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with hydraulic hose and fittings identification
  • Drill Fitter experience is not required
  • Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)

Subject to the Workshop's workload demands, there is also an opportunity for you to complete deployments to mine sites to gain further experience. Ongoing training opportunities offered with the potential for a Trade upgrade to a Cert IV in Engineering or even multi‑trade skilling to be completed with us.

You will be required to undergo a pre‑employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol test.
