Job summary

PYBAR Mining Services in NSW is seeking experienced Underground Fitters to join our brand new development contract at Hillgrove Mine in Armidale. You will work with a modern fleet of underground equipment and be part of a project from the ground up.

The role operates on a 14:14 roster with multiple points of hire across NSW and the Eastern Australian coast, offering training, career growth and access to PYBAR Perks including health insurance discounts and study reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with underground heavy equipment is essential.
• Experience with Sandvik drills is beneficial.
• Experience with Caterpillar loaders is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team orientation with a strong safety focus.
• Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance.

The services we provide range from mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting and fleet.

THE OPPORTUNITY

PYBAR are seeking experienced Underground Fitters to join our brand new development contract at Hillgrove Mine in Armidale, NSW.

You will be working with a modern fleet, including Sandvik drills, Caterpillar loaders and a variety of other Underground equipment, while being part of a project from the ground up.

This position will be offered on a 14:14 roster, with multiple points of hire considered across all of NSW and the Eastern Australian coast.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Experience with Sandvik Drills (Beneficial)
• Experience with Caterpillar Loaders (Beneficial)
• Have proven experience working on underground heavy equipment (Essential)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
• A strong focus on safety
• Hold a current Australian Drivers License
• Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
