Komatsu Australia, Curragh South, QLD, is seeking a Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team and deliver safe, high-quality service to our customers. You will diagnose, repair and maintain heavy equipment, including 930E-5 trucks, PC 7000 excavators and D475 dozers, while working autonomously with strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mobile Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Fitter.
• Experience on 930E-5 trucks, PC 7000 excavators and D475 dozers is desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting methodology and attention to detail.
• Strong computer systems skills; experience with Komatsu systems desirable.
• Ability to provide high-quality customer service.

The Opportunity

Our Curragh branch is searching for our next Heavy Diesel Fitter. Join our team and play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality service to Komatsu customers.

Your responsibilities will include diagnostics, repairs, and the ongoing maintenance of our heavy equipment, which includes 930E-5 Trucks, PC 7000 Excavators and D475 Dozers. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, safety-minded individual with strong technical skills and a drive for excellence.

Annualised Wages: $191,640.95 per year + superRoster: 7 Days on / 7 Days off, Rotating 12.25-hour shifts

Role Located: Curragh South, QLD (Drive-in/Drive-out with Shuttle bus transfers between camp and site)

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
