Job summary

SSA Consulting Group in Melbourne seeks a seasoned Project Manager to oversee fit-out and refurbishment projects ranging from $500k to $3 million. Based in South Melbourne, you will coordinate office, medical and commercial works, manage budgets and timelines, and maintain strong client relationships.

Two years of relevant experience and a background in commercial fit-out or office refurbishment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' relevant construction project management experience.
• Experience in fit-out, refurbishment, retail shopfitting, medical or office projects.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Good commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and timelines.
• Strong organisational skills coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage fit-out and refurbishment projects from initial planning through to completion and handover.
• Oversee projects across office, medical and commercial environments.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, programmes, procurement and quality control.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates.
• Respond effectively to client changes, variations and evolving project requirements.
• Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining programme and budget expectations.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with relevant safety, quality and compliance requirements.
