Job summary

FireSense, a specialist fire solutions provider, invites applications for a Fire Systems Production Assembler at our Norwest head office, near Norwest Metro Station. The successful candidate will join a panel assembly team and help increase production output.

Experience in Fire Alarm Systems is advantageous but training will be provided. A Certificate II in Electronics is advantageous but not required; strong schematic reading and hands-on skills are valued. Immediate start available.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Fire Alarm and Evacuation systems from sub-assemblies.
• Perform wiring and harness assembly as required.
• Read and interpret simple electrical schematics.
• Collaborate with a small team to maintain production output.

Our continued growth has created an exciting opportunity for a Fire Systems Production Assembler to work from our Head Office in Norwest, located within 500m of Norwest Metro Station.

The ideal candidate will join our team in a panel assembly role and will help to increase production output and assist with the growth of our business.

In this position you will be required to assemble Fire Alarm & Evacuation systems using various sub-assemblies and often custom wiring.

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in Fire Alarm Systems is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

A current Certificate II in Electronics or higher would be advantageous but not a requirement.

Your ability to accurately read and understand simple electrical schematics is preferred, along with practical hands on skills.

Excellent communication skills are also essential for this position, as you will be working closely with a small team of highly experienced individuals and/or our customer base.

Ability to use hand tools for drilling and tapping.
