Job summary

Grosvenor Engineering Group in Greater Sydney is seeking a Fire Maintenance Plumber who is passionate about delivering reliable fire protection services. You will repair, service and maintain water-based fire systems, with an emphasis on customer relations and teamwork.

Responsibilities include maintenance of hose reels, hydrants, and pump sets, occasional installation, and assisting with testing under AS1851-2012. A plumbing licence and drivers licence are required.

Qualifications

• Plumbing Licence required.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• WHS Construction Induction Card.
• Experience in the Fire industry or plant maintenance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, service and repair of water-based fire protection systems primarily including fire hose reels, hydrant systems and pump sets.
• Occasional installation.
• Assist with annual testing and flow testing of fire systems in accordance with AS1851-2012.
• Work in a specialised team reporting to the Wet Systems Team Leader.
• Assist the Wet Systems Team Leader in quoting of installation and repairs and ensuring a high level of service is delivered to our clients.
