Job summary

Jensen Hughes in Brisbane is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join our Fire Engineering team. You will lead fire safety engineering efforts on diverse projects, ensuring compliance with Building Code and Standards while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

You will participate in site inspections, prepare technical reports, and support complex safety decisions. The role offers growth within a global engineering consultancy and opportunities to expand your professional network.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil or related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety Compliance.
  • Experience in networking and client management.
  • Willing to think outside the box to help our clients and collaborate with the industries best.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide input and leadership on fire safety engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with Building Code and Standards.
  • Liaise with clients and our team to work through solutions.
  • Participation in site and final inspections.
  • Help prepare reports of findings and support client safety decisions.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Fire Protection Engineer to join our Fire Engineering team in Brisbane, tohelp up find solutions to make the world a safer place. As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will be involved in some of the industry’s most exciting projects but also have the opportunity to develop your career within an industry leading engineering consultancy.

  • Willing to think outside the box to help our clients and want to collaborate with the industries best.
