Job summary

Jensen Hughes in Perth, Western Australia, invites applications for a Fire Engineer Graduate to join our Fire Engineer team. You will contribute to safety projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with Building Code and Standards while developing your career at a leading international consultancy.

You will liaise with clients, participate in site inspections, prepare findings, and help grow the brand through networking with key clients. Australian Citizenship or PR is required.

Qualifications

• Must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil, or other related engineering discipline.
• Previous experience in a Fire Engineering or Fire Safety Compliance role.
• Experience in networking and client management.
• Willing to think outside the box to help clients and collaborate with industry leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide input and leadership on fire safety engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet Building Code and Standards.
• Liaise with clients and our team to work through solutions.
• Participation in site and final inspections.
• Help prepare reports of findings and assist the client in safety decisions.
• Grow the brand through networking and key client opportunities.
