Job summary

Buildability Group is seeking a strong Finishes Foreman on a contract basis to close out a detailed, mid-rise multi-unit residential project in the Hornsby area, NSW. Immediate start and a 6+ month assignment with potential to move to another project.

You will manage subcontractors, coordinate materials, schedules and safety, and maintain client and subcontractor communications, with a focus on high-quality workmanship. NSW OH&S and IR knowledge desirable.

Qualifications

• A trade carpenter or tertiary qualification in construction.
• Proven track record with reputable contractor.
• Experience on luxury residential new-build projects.
• Tier 1 or 2 commercial or defence experience.
• OH&S and IR knowledge.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Proven experience as a Foreman with references.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of subcontractors to bring a project in on time and on budget.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, schedules and safety of employees and the public.
• Liaise between the client and sub-contractor.
• Assist in the development of the project instructions.
• Maintain communication with superiors and subcontractors.
