Are passionate about supporting people experiencing financial difficulty? Join Cafs, a values-driven organisation as our newest Financial Counsellor within our Financial Counselling and Gambler’s Help Team. In this role you will deliver financial counselling services, providing sessional and extended casework. Our Financial Counsellors are responsible for assessing factors contributing to financial hardship and for providing relevant information, options, support, referral and advocacy to help individuals and families.
We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual with previous experience working in counselling or similar field. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, excited to empower our clients to actively manage their situation and deliver timely, high quality services.
Cafs (Child and Family Services Ballarat) is an independent community service organisation based in Ballarat for over 160 years. We provide over 50 programs across a range of service areas, supporting communities across the Central Highlands.
