Founded in 2019 by Rachel Dillon, CSB blends style, function, and confidence in every piece, with a mission to empower women worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-led brand that’s scaling globally while staying unapologetically fearless in its pursuit of excellence.

About the Role:

The Financial Controller will lead and coordinate financial operations across both the Australian and US entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and US GAAP.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role plays a critical part in managing consolidation, compliance, and cross-border reporting — while also driving process improvement, automation, and delivering strategic insights that support growth. It’s a hands-on, high-impact role for a proactive and technically strong finance professional who enjoys working across jurisdictions and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations across AU and US entities
  • Manage general ledger, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and consolidations
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes across jurisdictions
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports under AASB and US GAAP
  • Ensure tax and reporting compliance (BAS, GST, FBT, US equivalents)
  • Support budgeting and forecasting, identifying trends and variances
  • Drive financial process improvements, automation, and internal controls
  • Conduct detailed analysis to uncover insights and opportunities
  • Collaborate with Heads of Department to inform commercial decisions
  • Partner with Operations, Marketing and Product teams on forecasting, ROI, and inventory planning

About You:

You’re a detail-oriented and proactive finance leader with a strong technical foundation and a passion for making an impact. You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business and bring a commercial mindset to everything you do — balancing accuracy and compliance with a forward-looking approach to growth.

You’ll bring:

  • A passion for female empowerment, diversity, and inclusion
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence managing deadlines and shifting priorities
  • A critical thinker’s mindset with an analytical, problem-solving approach
  • A sense of ownership over your work and its impact on business success
  • Experience with accounting systems (Xero, MYOB, NetSuite, QuickBooks); ERP experience is a bonus

Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years’ commercial finance experience, ideally in eCommerce or a multinational environment
  • Bachelor of Finance/Commerce/Business (or equivalent)
  • CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
  • Strong knowledge of AASB, US GAAP, and regulatory reporting
