Job summary

Sydney Financial Group is seeking advisers who meet clients in person, by video or by phone to understand their goals, with paraplanning handling advice preparation and EA support ensuring smooth workflows.

Choose either Junior Adviser with mentoring from experienced advisers or Part-Time Adviser for flexible hours. You’ll work within a structured process, stay compliant, and use modern tools like Xplan while building real skills with clients.

Qualifications

• Registration as a relevant provider on the Financial Advisers Register.
• Junior: 0–3 years' advice experience.
• Part-time: 3+ years' advice experience.
• Interest in people and ability to explain complex ideas simply.
• Organised, coachable and happy to follow a proven process.
• Clean compliance record.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Open to automation.

Responsibilities

• Meet new and ongoing clients by phone, video or face to face to understand their goals.
• Complete fact finds to house standards.
• Brief paraplanning team and review the advice they prepare.
• Present advice and guide clients through implementation.
• Look after ongoing clients through regular reviews.
• Work closely with EAs, associates and paraplanners to keep files compliant and moving.
