Reo Group is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a private multi-company group, taking ownership of end-to-end accounting across reporting, controls and month-end.

You will prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements, perform journals and reconciliations, and contribute to consolidation, audit prep and budgets. CA/CPA preferred; strong Excel and multi-entity experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Experience in a commercial, multi-entity environment is preferred.
• Strong Excel capability and working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.

Responsabilités

• Handle end-to-end accounting and reporting for an allocated portfolio of businesses.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements; complete journals, accruals and provisions.
• Perform detailed variance analysis across margins, costs, labour and stock.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset registers and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support consolidation, year-end audit preparation, budgets and forecasts.
