Job summary

Hunter Douglas is seeking two Financial Accountants to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Sydney. You will help drive a major ERP implementation and finance transformation while maintaining core financial reporting accuracy.

You will collaborate with Finance, IT and external partners to design improved processes, support data migration, and deliver robust month-end reporting. CPA/CA qualifications and 3+ years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree required with professional qualification (CA/CPA).
• Minimum 3+ years in finance/accounting roles.
• Experience with ERP implementations or transformations.
• Strong financial reporting, month-end, and reconciliations experience.
• Ability to implement improved processes and data migration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support ERP implementation and finance transformation as a key Finance representative.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and business teams to design and improve finance processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation and standardisation.
• Support data migration, system testing, validation and implementation activities.
• Help identify and resolve process, reporting and control gaps.
• Support change management, documentation and training for new systems.
• Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations and financial reports.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end close, audits and statutory reporting.
• Maintain strong financial controls and accounting standards.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement across Finance.
