Medibank Private Limited is seeking a commercially minded Finance Partner to join our Primary Care business in Melbourne. You will provide strategic financial leadership, partnering with senior leaders to drive performance, growth, and better health outcomes. Travel to Adelaide monthly is expected.

We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Partner to join our Primary Care business, providing strategic financial leadership and partnering with senior leaders to drive performance, growth and better health outcomes.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with executive stakeholders, influence key business decisions and help deliver the financial strategy of a growing healthcare portfolio. Based in Melbourne, the role will require travel to Adelaide once or twice a month.

What you'll be doing

• Provide commercial insight and strategic financial advice to support business performance and decision-making
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, corporate planning and P&L management activities
• Develop business cases, financial models and investment analysis for new initiatives and growth opportunities
• Identify financial risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
• Deliver meaningful reporting and performance insights to executive stakeholders
• Partner across Finance and the broader business to improve financial outcomes and support strategic priorities
• Present recommendations and influence decision-making at senior leadership level

About you

You'll bring strong commercial acumen, an ability to influence senior stakeholders and a passion for partnering with the business to create value.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Significant experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance or strategic financial planning
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities
• Experience developing business cases and presenting recommendations to senior leaders
• A proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across complex stakeholder groups
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
• Experience within healthcare, health insurance or a similarly complex industry is highly regarded
