Job summary

Vistra in Australia seeks a seasoned finance operations lead to act as the primary contact for a multinational fund SPV client, ensuring seamless end-to-end service delivery.

You will oversee daily accounting, management reporting, tax, payroll, and corporate secretarial functions, aligning with AASB standards and regulatory requirements while driving process improvements and SLAs across global shared service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA Australia or CA ANZ qualified.
• 5–10 years of experience in audit, advisory, corporate accounting, or financial accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and statutory financial statements.
• Experience managing corporate accounting in a high-volume environment.
• Experience in corporate secretarial or company secretary functions in Australia.
• Knowledge of Australian fund investment structures is highly desirable.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for a multinational fund SPV client in Australia, ensuring end-to-end service delivery.
• Oversee and coordinate finance operations: daily accounting, reporting, tax, payroll, and compliance.
• Collaborate with the client's finance team on accounting, reporting, and governance requirements.
• Ensure records are maintained and reported under Australian accounting standards and internal policies.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and AASB-compliant financial statements; manage annual reporting and audits.
• Coordinate vendor management, accounts payable, recharge and expense management across onshore/offshore teams.
• Oversee corporate secretarial and entity governance activities, including ASIC compliance.
• Coordinate service delivery across local and global shared service teams; maintain SLAs.
• Drive process standardisation, technology adoption, and continuous improvement.
