Job summary

Richard Lloyd Accounting Recruitment is assisting a not-for-profit organisation in the Upper North Shore with an AP/AR role. This 4–5 month contract includes on-site parking and a supportive team culture.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will own end-to-end accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, run supplier payments, perform reconciliations, and assist with payroll for around 80–100 staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or similar role.
• Experience within not-for-profit, charity or community services organisation would be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment runs and supplier reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment allocations and debtor follow-ups.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with fortnightly payroll processing for approximately 80–100 employees.

The Role

This is an initial 4–5 month contract opportunity with the potential to become permanent. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will join a close-knit finance team and take ownership of the day-to-day accounts payable and receivable functions, while supporting broader finance activities.
